Our History and Impact

The Foundation believes that education is key to empower human beings to improve their lives and fulfill their dreams.

Our Roots

The Nobis Foundation was created in 2014, as a family initiative to give back and improve the lives of those who face poverty, are in high-risk environments and most need it. The Founders, Isidro and Antonella Romero, honoring their history and roots, believe that all human beings should have the necessary living conditions and opportunities to change their lives and aspire to a better future.

Also, as an athlete, Founder, Isidro Romero, believes that personal change and improvement can also be achieved through sports and all the values it promotes. Additionally, at the heart of the Foundation is the volunteer program, where more than 178 volunteers have served over 3,700 community hours in needed communities.

Our Impact

In its 5 years of operation, the Foundation has helped 5,273 people in low-income communities of Ecuador and the United States. During this time, the Foundation has helped schools in high risk neighborhoods, provided education opportunities for youth, helped in aid and relief initiatives after the Earthquake in 2016, among other initiatives. The Foundation works closely with reliable local partners in each country assuring impact, e ciency and transparency.

We give with love and devout all our energy and attention in each of our actions. We feel most alive when we build bonds with beneficiaries and in everything we do. We believe that as human beings, we are all a big Family. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back.

We believe in the value of joy and laughter as tools for change. We believe that helping generates more happiness to those who give than those who receive. We start each day with joy and gratitude.

We believe in the importance of being ourselves, regardless of external opinions. Being true to ourselves and “real” is a priority. We are honest and transparent. We do and assure what we commit ourselves to do.

Our Ambassadors

The Foundation has a group of ambassadors or people who belief in the Foundation and promote its programs. These ambassadors represent the Foundation and what it believes in. There are two types of Ambassadors: Friends and Distinguished Athletes.
